Come join our team! Mobius is seeking a Test Engineer. Mobius has a position open for a motivated mid-level engineer supporting the Missile Defense Agency’s (MDA) Aegis Based Defense Test Directorate (ABT). This is a high performing operational team in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Duties of a Test Engineer may include: 

• Work with multiple mission stakeholders in planning, coordinating, integrating, and executing Aegis Based Defense Ground Tests.
• Collaborate with MDA, military services, other government agencies, and contractor personnel to support test execution.
• Assist in test readiness reviews; identify, generate and manage schedules, requirements and other documentation in support of ground test operations;
• Prepare test execution materials used during countdown events; prepare decision-quality materials such as briefings and supporting documentation (white papers, fact sheets, status reports, progress reports, and information papers) for senior level reviews and mission milestone meetings.

Qualifications

• 7 years’ relevant experience
• US Navy background/experience (such as Aegis Weapons System knowledge
• Capable of providing test engineering support on systems, system elements, interfacing systems, components, devices and/or processes for developmental and operational weapon system programs during developmental and operational test events, including flight, HWIL, and operational environments.
• Capable of working as a team member to solve engineering problems.
• Possesses general technical and theoretical knowledge of the DoD principles of developmental and operational testing and the verification and validation activities of the engineering V, system test and integration, strategic planning, and/or process improvements
• Works as a member of team to solve test planning, integration, execution, and analysis problems.
• Strong attention to detail; ability to prioritize activities and to efficiently perform multiple tasks

Education 

• Bachelor's of Science in an engineering field

Clearance

• Active Secret
