Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Perform role-specific work to define shared data models, terminology, governance, lineage, and integration patterns for Federal grants and financial data.
Collaborate with pilot agencies, and multidisciplinary technical teams through iterative development and user testing.
Produce clear documentation that supports Government operation, maintenance, transition, and future expansion.
Follow Federal security, privacy, accessibility, records-management, and Government data-ownership requirements.
Required Qualifications
Experience designing enterprise data architectures, canonical models, metadata, and shared vocabularies.
Demonstrated experience integrating structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple authoritative systems.
Strong knowledge of data governance, lineage, quality, retention, stewardship, access, and auditability.
Experience defining scalable database, API, ingestion, and interoperability patterns for Federal or regulated environments.
Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Familiarity with relevant project technologies such as Linux, PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server, Java or .NET, Jenkins, self-hosted Azure DevOps, Kubernetes/Rancher, and open-source AI models.
