Are you passionate about automating processes and building innovative solutions with Microsoft Power Platform? PDS Defense is seeking a Power Platform Automation Specialist to support a major digital process transformation initiative at our Hampton, VA location.

In this hands-on role, you'll partner with teams across Finance, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality to eliminate paper-based processes and create efficient digital workflows that improve productivity, visibility, and data accuracy.
What You'll Do

✅ Design and build automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate

✅ Develop digital forms and applications using Microsoft Power Apps

✅ Create approval workflows, notifications, reminders, and status tracking

✅ Utilize SharePoint Lists and Microsoft 365 tools to manage workflow data

✅ Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline and simplify business processes

✅ Test, implement, and support new digital solutions

✅ Create dashboards and reports to track workflow performance

✅ Train users and develop process documentation

✅ Drive continuous improvement and digitization initiatives across the site
Initial Projects Include

📌 New Item Number / Job Packet Process

📌 Ferguson Material Requests / Spot Buys

📌 Orange Cards

📌 Risk Release Forms

📌 Additional high-impact business process automation projects
Required Qualifications

✔ Experience with Microsoft Power Automate

✔ Experience developing solutions in Microsoft Power Apps

✔ Working knowledge of SharePoint Lists and Microsoft 365

✔ Ability to translate business requirements into automated workflows

✔ Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

✔ Strong project management and organizational skills

✔ Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
