Electronic Attack Pod Logistics Manager

Position Summary

Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Attack Pod Logistics Manager supporting the program team at Eglin AFB, FL. This is a full-time, onsite role supporting a mission-critical national defense capability focused on electronic attack pod sustainment, maintenance, logistics, and test operations. The EA Pod Logistics Manager will work with a team of dedicated professionals delivering technical expertise, operational insight, and excellence in support of air superiority, national defense, deterrence, and global alliances.

This is a full-time position at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

Responsibilities

Duties include, but not limited to:

• Advise, perform, and/or lead logistics management operations involving planning, coordinating, evaluating, and executing logistical actions required to support missions, weapon systems, and designated programs
• Support coordination of logistics elements (spares, support equipment, training, facilities, technical data, provisioning) to ensure integrated logistics support requirements are identified and tailored to unit needs
• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and integration of external pods with combat aircraft avionics systems
• Apply logistics knowledge to support planning, development, implementation, and management of comprehensive systems support strategies
• Assist with technical analyses, planning, and execution; support Government review of technical specifications/documentation for reliability, maintainability, quality, supportability, and interoperability needs
• Provide technical support, conduct data analysis, and apply engineering technology knowledge under the direction of engineering staff
• Operate high-precision General Test Equipment, including:
  • Signal Generators
  • Spectrum Analyzers
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Power Meters
• Validate pod performance and diagnose complex electronic component issues
• Process and manage pod maintenance, coordinate daily shop schedules, and track asset status using the Central Scheduling Enterprise (CSE)
• Coordinate shipments and documentation utilizing the DD1149 Website

Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Active Secret Clearance

Education: Bachelor's Degree and 15 years of experience

Years of Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on professional experience in avionics maintenance, EW systems testing, or RF engineering support.

• Ability to oversee junior/journeyman personnel
• Proven track record operating precision general test equipment independently
• Advanced technical/professional discipline knowledge and ability to apply standards, procedures, and practices
• Experience managing EA pod maintenance, DD1149 shipping protocols, and CSE scheduling
• Valid Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of DoD and Air Force acquisition logistics systems and life-cycle processes.
• Experience using MATLAB or similar data analysis systems.
• Prior experience on secure DoD flightlines, including MJ-4 heavy equipment operation.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team collaboration skills.

Technical Skills

• Advanced logistics management expertise for mission and weapons system support
• Hands-on professional experience in avionics maintenance, electronic warfare (EW) systems testing, or RF engineering support
• Ability to operate precision test equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, power meters)
• Experience troubleshooting and integrating external pods with aircraft avionics
• Ability to manage maintenance scheduling and asset tracking via CSE
• Experience managing DD1149 shipping documentation
• Understanding of DoD and Air Force acquisition logistics philosophy, policies, and procedures (preferred)
• Experience utilizing data analysis systems such as MATLAB (preferred)
• Prior operational experience on secure DoD flightlines and safe heavy equipment operation (MJ-4) (preferred)

• Ability to oversee junior and journeyman personnel within the logistics and technical discipline.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills with ability to build consensus in mixed Government/contractor environments.
• Proven ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate clearly with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-starter able to take broad guidance and convert it into actionable tasks; adaptable in fluid operational environments.
