Job Description
Monitor equipment readiness across the Group’s inventory — authorized quantities, surplus and shortfalls, and material condition — using the NAVFAC TOA Viewer and the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), and keep system records current as conditions change.
• Brief command leadership weekly, and daily when the operational tempo demands it, on equipment shortfalls, non-mission-capable equipment, and the recommended path to resolution.
• Build and release the monthly reporting products — status reports, shortfall and readiness analysis, and audit readiness inventory reporting — and own their accuracy and timeliness.
• Identify missing critical equipment against authorized allowances and produce the analysis that supports procurement, resource allocation, and cross-leveling decisions.
• Coordinate with TOA custodians, ELMS managers, and command commodity managers on receipts, repairs, transfers, and cross-leveling across five sites.
• Prepare procurement request documentation when equipment is determined unserviceable or beyond economical repair, and initiate the disposition process.
• On-site lead position: provide oversight of the ten-person team, run the quality control program, handle scheduling and turnover, and serve as the primary interface to the Government’s Contracting Officer’s Representative.
What You Need
• Five or more years of Department of Defense or Department of the Navy logistics, supply, or property accountability experience, including at least two years in a lead, supervisory, or site-lead capacity.
• Hands-on proficiency with ELMS, including warehouse transfers, receiving, date-of-last-inventory updates, and condition code management.
• Working knowledge of expeditionary Tables of Allowance — how they are built, maintained, and applied to equipping operational units.
• Familiarity with Navy Expeditionary Combat Command and EOD equipment, its capabilities and limitations, and lifecycle and calibration requirements.
• Strong Excel skills — you should be comfortable building a model from a large data pull and turning it into something a commander can read in thirty seconds.
• Confident written and verbal communication, including experience briefing senior military leadership.
• Valid state driver’s license.
