Job Description

This position is responsible for providing general support to a vital part of a facility operations team supporting the customer's mission and keeping their inventory control and administrative organizational aspects up to date. The daily duties will range from analysis of current inventory, inventory predictive ordering, bench stock, replenishment as well as providing administrative support to O&M personnel as required by the needs of the client.

In the course of filling this role, one will be responsible for detailed tasks such as:

• Perform technical and administrative duties including, but are not limited to: report preparation, presentations, setting up and maintaining project files in project databases
• Provide general administrative support including meeting coordination, setting up and maintaining project files, project closeout, and file retention
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Adhere to and support Fluor's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other Duties as Assigned

Basic Job Requirements

• Minimum three (3) years of work-related experience preferably in inventory control, construction, or facility management field, or a similar field in which the applicant can demonstrate extensive knowledge of inventory controls, supply discipline, and restocking of repair/replacement items.
• Adept at reading/understanding directed O&M requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Highly skilled at computer use; including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Sharepoint
• Effective at system evaluation and problem solving skills
• Basic understanding of asset management & logistical management

Other Job Requirements

• Must be able to oversee performance of standard maintenance/inspection tasks
• Tasks could include physical labor; examples include working on ladders, ability to carry minimum 20lbs, retrieving stock items from warehouse via inventory database, use of PPE equipment for switching procedures, ability to obtain forklift/manlift operator's license, etc.
• Working conditions include various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to generally favorable indoor office workspace, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places, fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six (6) years of work-related experience preferably in inventory control, construction, or facility management field, or a similar field in which the applicant can demonstrate extensive knowledge of inventory controls, supply discipline, and restocking of repair/replacement items.
• Adept at reading/understanding directed O&M requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Highly skilled at computer use; including knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; i.e. Word, Excel, Powerpoint, & Sharepoint
• Effective at system evaluation and problem solving skills
• Basic understanding of asset management & logistical management
• Past experience in CMMS system; preferably Maximo

Market Rate Statement: The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate's qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
