Position Summary


Ataero is seeking two Senior Program/Project/Management Analysts to provide senior-level logistics, sustainment, maintainability, acquisition, and program-management support for a USN/USM PMA adversary aviation programs.


The successful candidates will support the development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon-system supportability and maintainability programs while coordinating with Fleet stakeholders on current and future adversary aviation requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Support development, operation, evaluation, and improvement of weapon-system supportability and maintainability programs.


• Support logistics and maintenance-control organizations.


• Evaluate and identify weapon-system logistics requirements and resources.


• Develop logistics-support and maintainability programs and plans.


• Conduct systems-acquisition requirements analyses.


• Perform budgetary, financial, and life-cycle cost analyses.


• Support weapons-system hardware and software standardization and compatibility.


• Support Integrated Logistics Support and Reliability & Maintainability activities.


• Support ILS/R&M program test and evaluation planning and execution.


• Perform ILS/R&M program-management analyses.


• Collect, compile, analyze, investigate, and research logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and financial information.


• Develop, modify, prepare, and validate logistics and maintenance documentation.


• Support automated logistics and maintenance data-reporting systems and management-information systems.


• Coordinate and interface with Fleet points of contact to refine requirements.


• Lead or support activities associated with adversary-platform acquisition and transition.


• Support site activation and pilot-training requirements.


• Support system-development and manpower activities.


• Coordinate Contractor Logistics Support activities.


• Develop roadmaps for adversary aviation systems.


• Develop long-term roadmaps for future adversary platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS).


• At least ten (10) years of experience performing the same or equivalent functions.


• Minimum seven (7) years of experience supporting NAVAIR and/or the Naval Aviation Enterprise.


• Significant experience in military aviation logistics, maintenance, sustainment, acquisition, or program management.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder-coordination skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Specialized experience supporting F-5 or F-16 aircraft; and/or extensive experience supporting Navy or Marine Corps aircraft maintenance and modifications.


• Experience with Naval Sustainment System-Aviation (NSS-A) processes and briefings.


• Experience with Integrated Logistics Support.


• Experience with Reliability & Maintainability programs.


• Experience supporting aircraft transition, site activation, Contractor Logistics Support, or aviation acquisition programs.
