Position Overview
The Knowledge Manager provides information management, knowledge management, and operational support to the N16 PMO, enabling leadership visibility, document governance, deliverable tracking, and enterprise collaboration. This role supports leadership priorities by managing SharePoint sites, maintaining repositories, tracking deliverables, coordinating across Program Managers (PMs) and stakeholders, and ensuring information remains accurate, accessible, and properly organized. The Knowledge Manager also supports knowledge capture, lessons learned, and information governance efforts that improve collaboration, decision-making, and program continuity.
The Knowledge Manager operates in a fast-paced environment requiring strong attention to detail, organizational discipline, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively support leadership and program teams through effective information management and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Knowledge Management & PMO Support
• Provide knowledge management support for N16 PMO activities, including document control, repository maintenance, information sharing, and knowledge capture.
• Maintain integrated trackers for deliverables, action items, key decisions, and program documentation.
• Support the collection, organization, storage, retrieval, and transfer of information across the PMO.
• Capture and maintain lessons learned, best practices, and other organizational knowledge assets to support program continuity.
• Ensure documentation, repositories, and records align with N16 requirements and contract deliverables.
SharePoint & Repository Management
• Manage and maintain SharePoint sites, document libraries, permissions, and content structures.
• Ensure documents are properly organized, version-controlled, and accessible to authorized users.
• Maintain repository standards, naming conventions, and document lifecycle processes.
• Coordinate SharePoint updates and improvements to enhance collaboration and information sharing.
• Ensure traceability of key program artifacts, including deliverables, decisions, approvals, and supporting documentation.
Deliverable Tracking & Reporting
• Track deliverables, milestones, and recurring reporting requirements across programs and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with PMs and technical leads to ensure timely completion and submission of required deliverables.
• Identify risks to deadlines and elevate issues to leadership as required.
• Support preparation of status reports, dashboards, metrics, and leadership updates.
Leadership Support & Stakeholder Coordination
• Support leadership by providing timely access to program documentation, status information, and decision-support materials.
• Serve as a coordination point between N16 leadership, Program Managers, technical teams, testing team, and supporting organizations.
• Facilitate communication and information sharing across stakeholders.
• Support onboarding and user training related to SharePoint and knowledge management processes.
Process Discipline & Quality Control
• Ensure adherence to PMO best practices, organizational standards, and contract requirements.
• Maintain organized records, repositories, and documentation libraries.
• Evaluate and improve knowledge management processes to support information accessibility, quality, and long-term retention.
• Ensure information is accurate, current, and properly maintained.
• Exhibit a high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and professionalism in all outputs.

Required Qualifications
• Demonstrated experience providing knowledge management, document management, records management, or PMO support in a DoD, Department of the Navy, or large enterprise environment.
• Experience managing SharePoint sites, document repositories, or collaboration platforms.
• Experience tracking deliverables, action items, or executive-level workflows.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting OPNAV, N16, or Navy program management environments.
• Familiarity with knowledge management, records management, or information governance practices.
• Experience developing SharePoint solutions, dashboards, trackers, and reporting products.
• Experience supporting contract deliverable management and PMO reporting requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or related certifications (preferred but not required).
• Certified Knowledge Manager (CKM) certification (preferred but not required).
• PMP, CAPM, or similar certification (preferred but not required).
