IT Systems Integration Lead
Onsite Annapolis Junction, MD | US Citizenship Required | Travel (less than 10%)

Responsibilities
The IT Systems Integration Lead serves as a strategic technical force multiplier across a multi-domain engineering enterprise. Moving beyond traditional administrative oversight, this role requires deep technical acumen and cross-functional leadership to align complex initiatives spanning infrastructure, cloud architectures, cybersecurity, networking, and end-user platforms. You will actively dissect engineering objectives, illuminate cross-team dependencies, challenge conflicting technical strategies, and bring key stakeholders together to accelerate delivery while safeguarding operational stability.
Requirements
-Cross-Functional Orchestration: Background steering multi-faceted technology programs across matrixed engineering squads and multidisciplinary technical domains.
-Enterprise Environment Exposure: Proven familiarity within large-scale IT ecosystems, including direct contact with core infrastructure, cloud architectures, network design, information assurance, or client technologies.
-Systems Interoperability Acumen: High-level technical comprehension with the capacity to rapidly analyze how disparate subsystem modifications affect broader enterprise operations.
Concurrent Workflow Management: Demonstrated capability in balancing parallel critical priorities, mapping complex dependency graphs, and maintaining tight deployment schedules.
-Multi-Tier Communication: Clear, effective communicator adept at bridging gaps between technical engineers, system architects, project managers, and executive leadership.
-Risk Mediation & Problem Solving: Proactive problem solver skilled at interrogating technical assumptions, neutralizing delivery blockers, and driving consensus across conflicting team priorities.
-Autonomous Execution: Track record of operating independently to establish clarity and maintain forward momentum in high-velocity, dynamic settings.
Preferred Qualifications
-Background applying structured IT Service Management (ITSM) frameworks or enterprise release governance models.
-Direct operational familiarity with service management and automation systems (such as ServiceNow or comparable enterprise platforms).
-Hands-on involvement guiding major IT modernization efforts, system migrations, data center upgrades, or enterprise-wide technology rollouts.
-Proven ability to design strategic technology roadmaps, deployment master schedules, performance dashboards, and executive briefs.
-Practical coordination experience across specialized groups in networking, cybersecurity, cloud engineering, applications, or communications infrastructure.
-Familiarity with mission-critical, geographically dispersed, or strictly controlled secure environments.
Mandatory Credentials
-Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
-Current DoD 8570.01-M / 8140 IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent).
Desired Credentials
-ITIL Foundation or higher IT Service Management credential.
-Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent program management certification.
-Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
