Job Description
Our client, a large professional services firm, is looking to hire a Senior Consultant for VCF with deep expertise in Aria Automation, for a 12-month remote contract. The consultant will be supporting a major project for a large financial customer serving as POC focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing the design and implementation of VMware Aria Automation solutions within VCF environments. The consultant will develop and maintain automation workflows, blueprints, and service catalogs as well as integrate Aria Automation with external systems (ITSM tools, CI/CD pipelines, APIs). The consultant may participate in workshops, assessments, and architecture reviews for clients and be responsible for document designs, processes, and operational procedures.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $90-$110 per hour
The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate's experience, skills, qualifications and will be in line with internal equity.
Required Skills:
- Deploy and configure Aria Automation 8.x instance including Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x and VMware Identity Manager 3.3.
- Configuration of Aria Automation & Orchestrator for IaaS and XaaS use cases with both VMware and third-party solutions.
- Develop and deploy code for IaaS and XaaS solutions using Aria Automation & Orchestrator 8.x.
- High level VCF 9 architecture and deployment concepts.
- Deploy or in-place upgrade of VCF Automation and confguration, including system organization customization.
- Deploy and configure VM Apps organization, including but not limited to Cloud Accounts and Integrations.
- Deploy and configure All Apps organization, including but not limited to Cloud Accounts and Integrations.
- Migrating code and configuration from Aria Automation 8.x to VM Apps.
- Customized migration of virtual machine management from one Automation instance to another.
