Job Description
Our client, a leading Consulting firm, is in need of an Interface Engineer for an initial 12 month remote contract supporting a large Oracle Cerner Implementation for a hospital system in Albany, NY, consisting of 24 hospitals. The Interface Engineer will be required to travel to the customer site approximately 20 - 30% of the time. The Interface Engineer will be responsible for supporting the design, configuration, development and testing of Oracle OPENLink interfaces within Oracle Millennium, develop and maintain HL7 v2.x interfaces, configure OPENLink routes, transformations, mappings, code sets, communication protocols, troubleshoot interface failures, support interface migrations and interact with customer leadership.

The expected hourly rate range for this role is $67 - 97/ hr.

Required Skills:
- At least 5 years of experience supporting Oracle OPENLink architecture, message and interface configuration, development, unit testing and production support.
- 7 years of healthcare integration experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining HL7 v2.x interfaces to include, ADT, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, MDM and / or MFN message types.
- Experience integrating ADT, orders, results, scheduling, documents, medications and related clinical workflows.
- Knowledge of TCP / IP and MLLP.
- Strong SQL experience.
- Prior experience providing training / mentoring on Oracle OPENLink usage, development standards and troubleshooting approaches.
Preferred or Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Millenium PathNet, OPENEngine and related workflows.
- Experience with other integration engines, specifically Rhapsody or Mirth.
- Experience supporting cloud or hybrid integration environments.
- ITIL or healthcare integration certifications.
