Security Monitor Supervisor

Purpose and Impact:

Provide oversight and leadership for the Security Monitor program in accordance with current security policies, both local and those at the national level, US or AUS. Position will cover all administrative, leadership and developmental activities for Security Monitors across Projects. This includes Project Scheduling, employee supervision, timecards, subcontract administration and Safety.

Work Schedule:

Day shift - 5 days per week, 8 hours per day

Essential Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing Security Monitor Program assigned personnel
• Provide verbal and written reports regarding pertinent safety, security, facility, or personnel issues/incidents, as well as weekly activity reports and metric reporting.
• Accountable for the scheduling of vehicles, maintaining usage records per site policy, and meeting all maintenance requirements.
• Maintain work schedule, ensure processing of all timesheets, entering Team timesheets for those absent or who are unable to complete.
• Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining Security Monitor policies and procedures
• Regularly review staff for compliance, e.g., PPE, safety (hydrated, alertness, etc.) maintaining line-of-sight, and active construction area situational awareness.
• Ensure that a safe and healthy working environment is provided for all team members.
• Ensure Security Monitor policies, procedures, databases, etc., are maintained.
• Ensure compliance with all sites environmental health and safety requirements
• Accountable for organizing & managing the hand-held radios for Security Monitors.
• Perform Security Monitoring duties when needed. Ensure Monitor coverage
• Respond professionally and courteously to all personnel and ensure Security Monitors uphold same values.
• Responsible for proper sanitization of secure areas prior to Security Monitors escorting personnel into the area.
• Undertake additional training as required to support new systems or processes.
• Ensure staff are compliant in all training areas, corporate, Site, etc.
• Maintain files related to licenses, white cards, training, etc. Ensure compliance.
• Any other reasonable and lawful duties as requested.

• Ability to walk/sit/stand for prolonged periods.
• Ability to work in inclement/extreme weather.
• Requirement for moderate climbing, stairs, vehicles
• Lift moderate weights safely

Security Clearance Required:

It is a condition of employment that employees obtain and retain the appropriate level of security clearance and medical clearance applicable to each role. The employee will require either an NV-1, Department of Defense Security Clearance (Australian) or SLA (U.S.) clearance, or a TS (PV) or TS/SCI level clearance.

Minimum Years of Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience

Tickets and Licenses:

Minimum Essential:

• Drivers License
• White Card Training

Desirable:

• Driver's License (Manual Transmission)
• HSR Training
• First Aid Training

Statement of Work Requirements:

All personnel assigned to work shall be:

• At least 18 years of age
• Able to fluently read, write, and speak the English language

This position is designated as a safety sensitive position.
