Job Description
Conviso Inc is hiring Azure Engineer, this is a 100% REMOTE set-up position & comes with benefits, 401K & some accrued PTO. The Ideal Candidate will implement approved Azure infrastructure, Windows Server 2022 configurations, network segmentation, security tooling integrations, hybrid connectivity, and disaster recovery capabilities in coordination with Infrastructure, Security, Database, Development, ICAM/eAuth, DNS, DMZ, and application stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
• Provision and configure Azure subscriptions, resource groups, virtual machines, virtual networks, subnets, route tables, network security controls, and related Azure services.
• Provision Windows Server 2022 instances using approved hardened baseline images.
• Apply approved operating system patches, security configurations, CIS benchmark requirements, and enterprise configuration standards.
• Onboard servers and Azure resources to vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, compliance monitoring, logging, and Azure security capabilities.
• Support the installation and configuration of middleware, runtime dependencies, administrative tools, and supporting services.
• Validate certificates, listeners, endpoints, firewall rules, ports, middleware components, DNS resolution, and downstream interfaces.
• Support implementation and validation of TLS 1.3 and remediation or removal of deprecated protocols and configurations.
• Configure and validate production and non-production network segmentation, including approved hybrid routing and DNS integration.
• Support Azure Site Recovery configuration and disaster recovery testing.
• Coordinate with existing Infrastructure, Security, Database, and Development specialists to resolve dependencies and implementation issues.
• Prepare configuration records, implementation evidence, technical diagrams, runbooks, and operational handoff materials.
• Participate in change control, readiness reviews, maintenance-window planning, defect resolution, and stakeholder demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
• Recommended minimum of four years of experience supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure in enterprise or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure subscriptions, virtual networks, subnets, route tables, network security controls, RBAC, Azure Policy, and resource governance.
• Experience administering Windows Server environments, preferably Windows Server 2019 or 2022.
• Experience with hybrid Azure and on-premises connectivity, DNS, firewall rules, certificates, and secure network paths.
• Experience supporting server hardening, vulnerability scanning, endpoint protection, patching, and compliance monitoring.
• Ability to troubleshoot infrastructure, middleware, application, and network dependencies across multiple technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Azure Site Recovery or comparable disaster recovery technologies.
• Experience supporting TLS configuration, encryption in transit, and certificate lifecycle activities.
• Experience in federal, public-sector, or other highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID, Azure SQL Managed Instance, customer-managed keys, and Azure security services.
• Azure infrastructure or architecture certification, such as AZ-104 or AZ-305.
