Job Title: Senior JCDC Cyber Triage Analyst
Location: Arlington, VA (Onsite)
Clearance: Active TS/SCI Clearance Required

Position Overview
Quantum Science Solutions (QSS) supports a U.S. Government customer providing cyber
incident response and threat hunting capabilities to protect federal agencies, state and
local governments, and critical infrastructure.
We are seeking a Senior JCDC Cyber Triage Analyst to perform advanced threat intelligence
analysis, handle complex cyber threat assessments, mentor junior analysts, and
coordinate with government and interagency partners. This role requires strong technical
analysis, threat intelligence, and communication skills to support national cyber defense
operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct advanced triage and analysis of complex cyber threats, incidents, and
Indicator of Compromise (IOC) packages.
• Serve as a technical escalation point for challenging or high-severity threat
assessments.
• Enrich IOCs using classified and unclassified intelligence sources.
• Coordinate with FBI, NSA, USCYBERCOM, and other interagency partners on threat
assessments.
• Mentor junior and mid-level analysts and conduct quality reviews of analytical
products.
• Develop and improve triage playbooks, analytical tradecraft, decision matrices,
automation, and threat detection processes.
• Prepare threat assessments and intelligence briefs for JCDC leadership and partner
organizations.
• Identify emerging campaigns and threat actor activity across multiple threat reports.
• Participate in interagency working groups and coordinate with critical infrastructure
partners.
• Support after-hours on-call rotations for critical incidents and contribute to
operational planning.
Mandatory Skills
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.
• Ability to obtain Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Suitability.
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive experience in threat intelligence, SOC
operations, cyber incident response, or a related cybersecurity discipline.
• Expertise in malware analysis, threat actor attribution, and cyber campaign
analysis.
• Advanced experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs), SIEM tools, and
analytical frameworks.
• Deep knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK and intelligence-driven cyber defense.
• Experience coordinating with federal agencies and managing complex stakeholder
relationships.
• Strong understanding of critical infrastructure and sector-specific cyber threats.
• Strong analytical writing and briefing skills for technical, non-technical, and senior
leadership audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple physical locations.
Preferred Skills
• Prior federal cybersecurity experience supporting CISA, FBI, NSA, DoD, or similar
organizations.
• Experience with the CISA National Cyber Incident Scoring System (NCISS).
• Knowledge of cyberattack stages, vulnerabilities, Computer Network Defense
(CND), and operational threat environments.
• Knowledge of system and application security threats, vulnerabilities, and common
attack techniques.
• Experience with threat hunting and proactive threat detection.
• Knowledge of foreign adversary cyber capabilities and the geopolitical threat
landscape.
• Published threat intelligence research or contributions to the security community.
• Familiarity with Privacy Act and government information-handling requirements.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related
technical discipline.
OR
High School Diploma with seven (7) or more years of directly relevant technical experience.
Master's degree preferred.
Desired Certifications
• CISSP, GCTI, GCFA, GREM
• Similar advanced cybersecurity or threat intelligence certifications
