Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Cloud Platform Architecture, with deep hands-on expertise in Client Azure.
• Strong expertise in Client Fabric, including end-to-end platform design across:
  • OneLake
  • Fabric Data Factory
  • Synapse Data Engineering
  • Power BI
  • Client Purview
• Experience with Government of Canada Cloud One and federal cloud landing-zone patterns, including departmental tenancy.
• Strong Azure networking architecture experience with:
  • Virtual Networks (VNets)
  • Private Endpoints
  • ExpressRoute
  • DNS
  • Azure Firewall
  • Hybrid connectivity
• Strong IAM and cloud security expertise, including:
  • Client Entra ID
  • RBAC
  • Managed Identities
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Encryption
  • Protected B security controls aligned with ITSG-33
• Experience designing and managing environments across DEV / SIT / UAT / PROD, including controlled promotion and release processes.
• Experience integrating Databricks with Azure/Fabric data platforms.
• Demonstrated experience delivering technology solutions for the Government of Canada / federal government.
• Familiarity with federal security and authorization requirements, including Protected B, ITSG-33 and ATO processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Profisee deployment and integration with Client Fabric.
• Terraform / Bicep for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Azure Landing Zone architecture and Well-Architected Framework reviews.

Key Responsibilities

Design and govern secure, scalable Azure and Client Fabric cloud platforms for enterprise and federal-government workloads.

Define Azure networking, IAM, security, landing-zone and hybrid-connectivity architecture.

Design end-to-end Fabric data platform architecture spanning OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Power BI and Purview.

Establish DEV/SIT/UAT/PROD environment architectures and controlled promotion patterns.

Integrate Databricks and other data engineering platforms into the Azure/Fabric ecosystem.

Ensure architecture aligns with Protected B, ITSG-33 and ATO requirements for Government of Canada environments.
