Java Software Engineer – Mid-Level

Description:
Our client seeks a mid-level Java Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable Java applications in an automated DevSecOps AWS environment. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS, and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Implement robust, secure, and high-performing applications
• Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and adherence to best practices
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues
• Continuously improve application performance and scalability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in Java software development
• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with AWS services and DevSecOps practices
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-native technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
• Familiarity with database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services
