Our client seeks an Application Cloud Engineer to maintain and enhance AWS-based applications and infrastructure. The role collaborates with development, operations, and business teams to design, deploy, and optimize cloud solutions that support business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud applications on AWS.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to implement cloud solutions.
- Manage cloud infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and other AWS services.
- Implement automation and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployment processes.
- Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Proven experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with big data technologies and analytics.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK stack.
