Senior Budget Analyst

About the Role

Join OMNI Consulting Solutions as a Senior Budget Analyst, where you'll drive financial oversight and strategic resource management for a federal customer. In this role, you'll analyze complex financial data, prepare critical execution reports, and support budget planning and forecasting activities. Working across multiple financial systems and collaborating with program and financial leadership, you'll provide actionable insights that directly influence mission-critical decisions.

Responsibilities

• Perform travel administration, funding oversight, reconciliation, and compliance activities
• Prepare weekly execution reports tracking commitments, obligations, expenditures, burn rates, and projected funding requirements
• Track, analyze, and report operating costs, identifying variances, trends, and funding risks
• Analyze complex financial data to support budget execution, forecasting, reconciliation, and funds management
• Develop financial reports, analyses, and briefings providing actionable insights to leadership
• Research and reconcile financial transactions across government financial systems
• Support reimbursable and interagency transactions while maintaining compliance with DoD and federal financial management policies
• Collaborate with program managers, financial managers, contracting personnel, and stakeholders to resolve financial issues

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (minimum)
• Active Secret clearance
• Experience in budget formulation
• Experience in budget execution
• Experience in budget analysis
• Experience in obligation management
• Experience in expenditure management
