VTG is seeking a Technical Operations Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical initiatives supporting National Security customers. This role is based in the National Capital Region and is 100% onsite.

VTG is seeking a Technical Operations Project Manager to lead the delivery of mission-critical initiatives supporting National Security customers. This role is based in the National Capital Region and is 100% onsite.
What will you do?
- Lead planning and execution of technical projects across cross-functional teams
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with stakeholders
- Manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation
- Track progress using appropriate tools, metrics, and reporting frameworks
- Coordinate internal staff and external partners to support successful delivery
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues proactively
- Manage changes to scope, schedule, and cost using structured change-control practices
- Prepare and present status updates to leadership and customer stakeholders
- Maintain strong relationships across government and contractor teams
- Develop and maintain project documentation, plans, and briefings
Do you have what it takes?
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Minimum of 12 years of experience
- Bachelor's Degree (experience may count in leui of degree)
- Must be able to travel up to 35% CONUS travel
- Experience managing technical or mission-focused projects in government or national security environments
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary technical teams
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client-facing communication skills
- Experience managing schedules, risks, and deliverables across concurrent efforts
