Security Office Support (PERSEC) needed for a contract opportunity with SOC's client to work in Arlington, VA
Contract Length: 12+ months

Responsibilities:
- Experience supporting Personnel Security (PERSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) General Intelligence Security Programs by providing comprehensive risk management and security services to?the Army
- Experience with submitting Personnel Security Investigation Portal (PSIP) forms for new security clearance requirements, clearance upgrades, as well as continuous vetting requirements for all Active Guard Reserve (AGR), Active Duty Operational Support (ADOS) and CIV staff
- Experience in the Department of the Army or Army National Guard Information Security field, including engagement with senior leadership
- Experience with Security Classification Guides (SCG), the DoD Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) Registry, and the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) for classification reviews
- Requires experience with organizing and uploading fully completed polygraph request packages and all supporting documentation into the designated database system to support official review and adjudication.
- Experience supporting the drafting of security Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), policies, and military Memorandum of Records
- Experience defining the requirements for classified briefings, trainings, meetings, and conferences
- Experience in database functions, including DISS, NISS, and NIST databases
Qualifications:
- Requires experience conducting quality control reviews of CSP Request Forms and Prescreening Questionnaires, identifying missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information, and coordinating with State and unit personnel to obtain necessary corrections.
- Knowledge of clearance processing, document control, personnel security, and Automated Information System Security
- Top Secret / SCI clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Experience supporting the federal government, the Intelligence Community (IC), and the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) applications, including MS Office and MS Project
