Quality Engineer – Aircraft Parts Inspection
Location: Titusville, FL
Contract: Approximately 3 months
Pay: $50–$60/hr
Schedule: Onsite

Position Overview
We are seeking a hands-on Quality Engineer / Quality Inspector to support an aerospace manufacturing and aircraft integration operation in Titusville, FL.
This is an approximately 3-month contract supporting the inspection and quality verification of aircraft parts and components. The ideal candidate will have at least 2–3 years of aerospace or manufacturing quality experience and be comfortable working directly with manufactured parts, engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection documentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform inspection of aircraft parts, components, and manufactured hardware.
• Verify parts meet applicable engineering drawings, specifications, dimensions, and quality requirements.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and/or final inspections as required.
• Use standard precision inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.
• Identify and document nonconforming parts or workmanship.
• Assist with nonconformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and quality documentation.
• Maintain accurate inspection and traceability records.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, and production personnel to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with applicable aerospace quality procedures and customer requirements.
Qualifications
• 2–3+ years of Quality Engineering, Quality Inspection, or Manufacturing Quality experience.
• Aerospace, aviation, defense, or aircraft manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience inspecting machined, fabricated, sheet-metal, structural, or aircraft components.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience with precision measuring and inspection equipment.
• Working knowledge of GD&T preferred.
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, FAA, or other regulated aerospace quality environments is highly preferred.
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
• Must be comfortable working onsite in a hands-on aircraft/manufacturing environment.
Ideal Background
Candidates coming from an aircraft modification facility, aerospace manufacturer, machine shop, aircraft parts manufacturer, MRO, or defense manufacturing environment should translate well into this position.
