DESCRIPTION OF POSITION / DUTIES:
All Points is seeking a Systems Administrator III to support NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) under the AEGIS Program in Cleveland, Ohio.
This position provides senior-level systems administration, cybersecurity, and infrastructure support for Windows and Linux environments supporting mission, research, and operational systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining secure, reliable, and high-performing systems while supporting virtualization, storage, backups, security compliance, and enterprise infrastructure operations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong Windows and Linux systems administration experience, demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues, and support NASA research and operational environments while maintaining compliance with NIST-based cybersecurity requirements.

ACTIVE NASA PUBLIC TRUST OR ACTIVE, CURRENT, AND FULLY ADJUDICATED U.S. DoD SECRET CLEARANCE (OR HIGHER) REQUIRED

DUTIES MAY INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

System Operations & Maintenance
• Monitor performance, availability, and security of Windows and Linux servers and appliances
• Install, configure, patch, maintain, and upgrade operating systems and software packages
• Perform systems administration activities across enterprise environments
• Support storage, virtualization, networking, and system infrastructure platforms
• Manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs), account permissions, and access controls
• Support hardware lifecycle management and system maintenance efforts
• Identify, recommend, and maintain internal tools and utilities

Troubleshooting & Technical Support
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for Windows and Linux environments
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, network, and infrastructure issues
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems affecting mission operations
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders
• Support research, laboratory, and engineering-focused environments

System Backup & Disaster Recovery
• Create, maintain, and test backup solutions for critical systems
• Perform backup validation, recovery testing, and restoration activities
• Support disaster recovery planning and continuity of operations efforts
• Maintain recovery procedures and supporting documentation

Security & Compliance
• Implement security controls, secure configurations, and hardening standards
• Perform security patching and vulnerability remediation
• Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, account permissions, and access controls
• Utilize HCL BigFix and other tools to support patching, software deployment, compliance, and operational efficiency
• Support continuous monitoring, audits, assessments, and compliance activities
• Ensure systems remain compliant with NIST, FISMA, NASA, and organizational requirements
• Maintain security documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures
• Support incident response activities as required

Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain system documentation, diagrams, configuration records, and operational procedures
• Generate reports related to infrastructure health, system performance, and security status
• Maintain configuration management and operational records

Collaboration & Leadership
• Work closely with network, storage, security, and application teams
• Support cross-functional projects and technology initiatives
• Assist with mentoring junior technical staff
• Participate in training and continuous learning activities

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in:
• Computer Science
• Information Technology
• Related technical field

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 6 years of relevant systems administration experience

SECURITY CLEARANCE:

• Candidates who do not currently possess an Active NASA Public Trust or an Active, Current, and Fully Adjudicated U.S. DoD Secret Clearance (or higher) are not eligible for this position

COMPENSATION:
$80,000 - $88,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
This position supports NASA Glenn Research Center under the AEGIS Program and requires full-time onsite support in Cleveland, Ohio.
