Computer Systems Analyst

Job Description
Tharros Defense is hiring a Computer Systems Analyst to support Navy cyber warfare engineering and security services for naval aviation programs. This is an opportunity to contribute to mission-focused technical analysis, cyber resiliency, system workflow improvement, and data processing support for Navy stakeholders.

You will join a technical team supporting Navy customers, program offices, Department of the Navy and Department of War organizations, and Fleet stakeholders. This role is ideal for an early-career analyst who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in documenting system capabilities, identifying workflow challenges, and supporting recommendations that improve mission outcomes.

• Support analysis of science, engineering, business, and cyber mission data processing challenges for Navy customers.
• Assist with reviews of application workflows, system administration processes, network considerations, and schedule constraints.
• Document current-state system capabilities, data flows, user needs, and operational constraints with guidance from senior analysts.
• Support systems management and integration activities across cyber, RDT&E, operational technology, Defense Business Systems, and data environments.
• Help identify gaps in existing computer systems and draft improvement recommendations.
• Assist with evaluating commercially available software options when requested by the customer or technical lead.
• Collect and organize input from users, technical teams, and program personnel to support system capability assessments.
• Prepare analysis products, briefings, workflow documentation, and technical notes for Government review.
• Track assigned action items, findings, and data requests in accordance with project direction and reporting needs.
• Follow applicable security, OPSEC, CUI handling, and Government-site procedures while supporting classified and unclassified work.

Requirements

• Active TS, SCI-eligible.
• BS Degree in a related discipline, DCWF qualification: 541, OR Approved DoD or Military Training for the role.
• IAT Level II Certification.
• Ability to support on customer facilities as required.
• Experience supporting DoD, Navy, NAVAIR, NAWCAD, PMA, PAE, Fleet, or RDT&E environments; familiarity with cyber resiliency, cyber risk assessment, mission-focused vulnerability analysis, or test and evaluation support; and the ability to translate technical findings into clear documentation for Government and contractor teams.
