Job Description
Minimum Qualifications
BS 0-2 yrs
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
0-3 Years Experience is preferred
Working knowledge of RF/microwave engineering, including microwave systems and network analysis.
Experience using common test, measurement and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and power supplies.
Ability to analyze technical data, follow standard operating procedures, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate technical information across customer and engineering organizations.
Strong organization, critical-thinking skills and attention to detail.
Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
Ability to travel up to 10%.
Preferred / Highly Desired Experience
Experience supporting U.S. Navy submarine systems, submarine sensors or related undersea warfare technology.
Hands-on experience with RF test equipment including FieldFox, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers and noise figure meters.
Experience with antennas, RF components, electrical/RF production hardware or sensor systems.
MATLAB or comparable data-analysis and processing experience.
Experience supporting hardware production, troubleshooting, repair, shipyard or waterfront testing.
Experience designing or working with RF, fiber-optic and copper cable assemblies to military specifications.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
