Expert Systems Integrator

Markon is seeking an Expert Systems Integrator to support an Intelligence Community client in Chantilly, Virginia. This position will provide advanced technical leadership in the planning, integration, and validation of complex Sponsor-developed capabilities. The Systems Integrator will coordinate technical requirements across stakeholders, lead critical program management and integration activities, and apply advanced technical judgment to ensure capabilities meet mission objectives while maintaining system integrity, performance, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical leadership for the planning, integration, and validation of complex Sponsor-developed capabilities.
• Lead the development and implementation of essential program management processes, including requirements, resources, schedules, configuration management, and risk management.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans supporting technical integration and mission objectives.
• Coordinate Sponsor technical requirements across stakeholders and technical teams.
• Serve as a strategic liaison between the Sponsor and stakeholder groups to maintain alignment across complex technical activities.
• Identify potential technical, integration, and interface issues and communicate risks to appropriate stakeholders.
• Apply advanced critical-thinking and analytical skills to assess Sponsor-developed capabilities for mission integrity, performance, and reliability.
• Analyze complex technical issues and provide sound, well-supported recommendations for resolution.
• Identify integration risks early and support appropriate mitigation activities.
• Coordinate technical activities involving multiple systems, interfaces, and dependencies.
• Work closely with Sponsor test teams and stakeholders to validate integration and interface requirements.
• Support the verification of Sponsor-developed capabilities prior to transition into operational environments.
• Lead complex integration efforts involving multi-system dependencies, cross-mission interfaces, and high-risk technical transitions.
• Help ensure complex capabilities integrate successfully and satisfy Sponsor mission requirements.

Qualifications

Required:

• An active TS/SCI with a FS Polygraph (preferrably from this client) is required to be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 7 years of related experience;
  • OR a minimum of 10 years of experience relevant to the technical function being supported.
• Demonstrated successful experience developing and implementing essential program management processes, including:
  • Requirements and resources.
  • Schedule management.
  • Configuration management.
  • Risk management.
• Demonstrated successful experience coordinating Sponsor technical requirements with stakeholders and communicating potential issues.
• Demonstrated successful experience applying critical thinking to Sponsor-developed capabilities to assess mission integrity, performance, and reliability.
• Experience analyzing technical issues and providing sound recommendations to address identified concerns.
• Demonstrated successful experience developing project plans.
• Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor test teams and stakeholders to validate integration and interface requirements associated with Sponsor-developed capabilities.

Desired:

• Experience leading complex integration efforts involving:
  • Multi-system dependencies.
  • Cross-mission interfaces.
  • High-risk technical transitions.

Salary Range

USD $170,000.00 - USD $230,000.00 /Yr.
