Responsibilities:
- Join our ICAM team
- Help build, maintain, and improve the infrastructure, deployment processes, and tooling that enable our development teams to deliver reliable software efficiently.
- Has hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, Elasticsearch, containerization, monitoring, and automation.
- Working collaboratively with system and software engineers and security teams while taking ownership of DevOps initiatives from implementation through production support
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or a related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree for a total of 15 years.
- 10+ years of System Engineering experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Kubernetes & Platform Engineering:
- Experience with Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management.
- Experience developing and maintaining Helm charts for application deployment and configuration.
- Experience with GitOps tools and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Infrastructure-as-Code and automation experience utilizing Ansible.
- Understanding scalability and high-availability strategies with deployments across multiple service centers (e.g., availability zones).
- Systems, Software, and Integration:
- Experience with PKI and certificate-based authentication.
- Familiarity with REST APIs and service-based architecture.
- Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters, Logstash pipelines, and Kibana dashboards, focusing on cluster performance and data ingestion.
- Experience supporting systems using MongoDB.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience collaborating with software developers, test engineers, and system administrators.
- Ability to lead technical discussions and brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience developing program review materials.
- Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
