Responsibilities - Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and optical equipment and systems - Assist in the design, assembly, testing, and check-out of test equipment to meet project requirements - Interpret and work from schematics, engineering drawings, repair manuals, and verbal/written instructions - Perform calibration and alignment checks, adjustments, modifications, and component replacements as directed - Operate complex machines and computer systems, conduct tests, and accurately report results - Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions in support of technical operations - Collaborate with internal and external contacts to resolve issues and provide technical insights Required Skills and Experience - High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred - Secret-level security clearance (active or eligible) - 6+ years of relevant hands-on experience, or 2+ years post-secondary/Associate degree with 2+ years experience - Proficiency in troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining complex equipment and systems - Ability to follow established processes, identify straightforward issues, and resolve them independently - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Skills - Experience with advanced calibration and alignment procedures - Familiarity with electromechanical and optical systems - Background in test equipment design and construction Benefits - Competitive compensation - Opportunities for career advancement and on-the-job training - Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and challenging projects - Supportive work environment with a focus on professional growth How to Apply Ready to take the next step in your engineering career?
