Indotronix is seeking an :

Onsite Job: Electro-Mechanical Technician III
Work Location: Maple Grove, MN
Duration: 12+ Months, Temporary to Hire
Work Schedule: 9/80
Security Clearance: Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance
Work Location Requirement: Onsite daily

Position Description

• Must be able to understand and work from engineering drawings and sketches and follow written and verbal work instructions.
• Must be able and willing to work additional hours when required, including weekends as needed.
• Perform repetitive to non-repetitive assembly operations of electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies on ordnance products.
• Perform duties assisting team members in identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities, troubleshooting and transitioning products into production.

Skills Required

Required skills include proficient use of electronic test equipment, electrical assembly tools, and hand tools.

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and sketches.
• Precision and fine motor skills required for micro/nano scale fabrication, assembly, and test with near-zero defects.
• Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of mechanical aptitude and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
• Conduct tests using electronics test equipment (i.e., scopes, meters, etc.) and generate test report data.
• Must demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Maintain a safe work environment and ensure compliance with safety objectives and policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Skills Preferred

• Ability to communicate feedback to the team to support design, fabrication, and test improvements.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve assembly issues.
• Cirris and/or Automated Test Equipment operator experience.
• Troubleshooting of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
• Trained and proficient in manufacturing and quality requirements of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 3 and J-STD-001 or have knowledge of these requirements.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.

Experience Required

• 2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.

• 2-year technical degree and 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.

Education Required

• 2-year technical degree or a minimum of 2 years as a technician performing related tasks, either in a production or prototype environment.
