Position Summary: The Technical Instructor/Course Developer serves as the program's curriculum-development lead, instructional-standardization SME, and primary internal instructional surge resource. The position maintains and revises LAT courseware while supporting classroom instruction when required. Location of work is Fort Stewart, Georgia.


Primary Duties

• Maintain and revise all LAT curricula


• Organize complex subjects into instructional blocks


• Develop and revise lesson plans


• Develop instructional graphics and presentations


• Maintain instructor guides and student materials


• Incorporate regulatory, system, and policy changes into training


• Develop and revise examinations and test items


• Conduct test analysis


• Recommend curriculum improvements


• Standardize instructional delivery across the 10 Technical Instructors


• Support preparation for approximately 188 annual course iterations


• Conduct QA/QC reviews of training products


• Maintain course continuity documentation


• Teach courses during instructor absences or workload surges


• Serve as backup instructor for courses matching the employee's technical qualifications


• Coordinate with the PM on upcoming curriculum, scheduling, and resource requirements

Recommended Qualifications

• Secret Security Clearance


• Minimum five years of technical instruction, training-development, Army logistics, or equivalent experience


• Demonstrated curriculum-development experience


• Familiarity with adult-learning principles


• Ability to develop lesson plans, instructional materials, tests, presentations, and technical courseware


• Army logistics experience strongly preferred


• Hold recognized credentials such as the Army Basic Instructor Course, Foundation Instructor Facilitator Course, Cadre Training Course, or equivalent Department of Defense or TRADOC certification.


• Must demonstrate a minimum of three to five years of specialized experience in Army logistics doctrine, including Army Regulation 750-1, Army Regulation 710-2, Department of the Army Pamphlet 710-2-1, Department of the Army Pamphlet 710 2-2, and Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations hazardous material standards
