Position Description:
Join a dynamic maintenance team as a Maintenance Technician in Durham, NC. This contract-to-hire role offers the opportunity to apply a wide range of skills to ensure building systems and facilities operate smoothly and efficiently. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across various trades including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, HVAC, and grounds care. Your duties include completing work orders, conducting inspections, maintaining safety standards, and documenting work in our CMMS system. Top Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; technical trade school preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
- Valid driver's license and ability to read and follow safety policies and procedures

- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to read and interpret SOPs and technical manuals
- Self-motivated with the capability to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to changing priorities
