Job Description:
We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) ServiceNow Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing technical expertise and guidance on ServiceNow platform implementations, customization, and best practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with ServiceNow administration, development, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a technical expert and advisor for ServiceNow implementations across various clients and projects
- Design, develop, and implement custom solutions using ServiceNow APIs, scripts, and integrations
- Provide guidance on ServiceNow best practices, performance optimization, and system architecture
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation for ServiceNow configurations and customizations
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Mentor and guide junior ServiceNow engineers and developers
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform administration and development
- Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow APIs, scripting (JavaScript, GlideScript), and integration capabilities
- Experience with ServiceNow custom UI, workflows, and business rules
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow security and access control mechanisms
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Developer certification
- Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics and Performance Monitoring
- Knowledge of ServiceNow AI and automation capabilities
- Experience working with federal government clients
