Systems Engineer

What You'll be Owning

GRVTY is seeking a Systems Engineer with a TS/SCI + Poly clearance (applicable to this customer) to join one of our top projects in Herndon, VA.

What You Must Have

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance
• Demonstrated experience with Storage Area Networks (SAN) to include zoning and host groups.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi Storage.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco switches.
• Demonstrated experience with Brocade and/or NetApp storage (EMC storage is translatable).
• Demonstrated experience with VMWare.
• Demonstrated experience monitoring, patching, and working with an ISSE to address security concerns.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi HiCommand Software to include installation and configuration.
• Demonstrated experience with Hitachi Array Hardware maintenance.
• Demonstrated experience as a Cisco Fiber Channel SAN Administrator.
• Demonstrated experience creating Cisco SAN fabrics and setting up/managing Cisco ISLs.
• Demonstrated experience with Cisco DCMN software and MDS9000 series hardware.
• Demonstrated experience being able to determine and identify dual active paths to and from all servers and storage arrays.
• Demonstrated experience working independently from a team.

What Would be Nice to Have

• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's IT equipment disposal procedures.
• Demonstrated experience with systems' lifecycles.
• Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's multiple internal networks.
• Demonstrated experience and understanding of the Sponsor's data center operations.
• Demonstrated experience working with Mission Partners to identify and troubleshoot issues with physical IT infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the Sponsor's ticketing system for tracking changes and incident management.

Virginia Pay Range

$150,000-$250,000
