Job Description
Kavaliro is seeking an Enterprise Systems Administrator to support Department of Defense operational forces in maintaining, troubleshooting, and securing enterprise server, network, and virtual desktop infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong systems administration experience, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to support users in mission-critical environments.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware and software in enterprise environments.
-Support and maintain enterprise server infrastructure across multiple networks.
-Perform Tier II troubleshooting for hardware, software, VDI, and cloud infrastructure issues.
-Administer VMware vSphere and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) environments.
-Troubleshoot VDI sessions, virtual machines, FSLogix profiles, and remote desktop services.
-Install software, patches, and security updates while maintaining compliance with security requirements and ACAS scans.
-Provide remote technical support to users at worldwide locations using remote access and desktop-mirroring tools.
-Troubleshoot Microsoft Office, email, hardware, and other end-user technology issues.
-Create and maintain DNS entries and service accounts in accordance with engineering requirements.
-Support enterprise print services and infrastructure, including HP and Lexmark environments.
-Utilize ServiceNow to document, track, and resolve user support requests.
-Apply diagnostic techniques to identify problems, investigate root causes, and recommend solutions.
-Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies and enterprise systems.
-Provide surge and after-hours support, including 24/7 availability as required by the customer.
-May coach or review the work of less-experienced personnel and serve as a team or task lead; this is not a people-management position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Active TS/SCI clearance required
-IAT Level II certification minimum
-Experience supporting enterprise systems, servers, networks, or virtual infrastructure
-Strong hardware and software troubleshooting experience
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Associate's degree or equivalent experience
-Cisco or network administration experience
-Systems administration experience
-VMware/vSphere or VDI administration experience
-Experience supporting Department of Defense environments
