Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Structures Mechanic to join our team at Beale Air Force Base, CA. This position requires a Secret clearance and offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical aerospace structures and components.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural repairs and modifications on aircraft and other aerospace vehicles
• Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structures to identify damage or wear
• Fabricate and install structural components using advanced tools and techniques
• Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement repair plans
• Maintain detailed records of all work performed and materials used
• Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards

Qualifications:

• Active Secret clearance required
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft structural maintenance
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools, as well as welding equipment
• Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and materials
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring bending, lifting, and climbing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on specific aircraft types (e.g., B-52, KC-10, U-2)
• Knowledge of FAA regulations and military maintenance procedures
• Previous experience in a similar role at a military base or aerospace contractor
