Informatica/Tableau Developer

Description:
Remote in either Washington, DC Our client seeks an Informatica/Tableau Developer to support enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics initiatives. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and creating interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop ETL/ELT processes using Informatica PowerCenter
• Create and maintain Tableau workbooks and dashboards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Optimize data integration performance and troubleshoot issues
• Ensure data quality and accuracy through validation and testing
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data integration and business intelligence

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience with Informatica PowerCenter
• 2+ years of experience with Tableau
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Experience with data modeling and database technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in relevant field
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of SQL and programming languages (Java, Python)
• Certification in Informatica or Tableau
