MECHANICAL INTEGRATOR

EPS is seeking a dedicate Mechanical Integrator support programs at Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD) in Panama City, FL. The ideal candidate will have significant experience obtained in a US Navy, USMC, or comparable DoD environment in the areas of design, fabrication, and integration of mechanical systems or similar systems, including leading of a team of mechanical engineers.

Requirements

The Mechanical Integrator performs hands-on assembly, integration, modification, and troubleshooting of complex mechanical and electromechanical systems in a DoD fabrication/manufacturing environment. The position interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and technical specifications to accurately fit, assemble, align, and test components and assemblies.


Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED required; mechanical, aerospace, or mechatronics degree preferred.


• 3–7+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, fabrication, manufacturing, or a related technical field.


• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, schematics, and technical specifications.


• Experience using hand and power tools for precision assembly and fabrication.


• Ability to troubleshoot fitment, alignment, tolerance, hydraulic, and electromechanical issues.


• Experience with mechanical integration, installation, modification, and testing of components and systems.


• Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.


• Ability to work closely with engineers, fabricators, welders, machinists, and project personnel.


• DoD/Defense, Navy, shipyard, or military fabrication experience preferred.
