The Opportunity

Provide NMCI and ONE-NET Deployable support to Commander, Naval Air Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CNAP) and subordinate Commands to include: Commander, Strike Fighter Wing Pacific (CSFWP), Commander, Electronic Attack Wings Pacific (CVWP), Commander, Airborne Command and Control and Logistics Wing (COMACCLOGWING), Commander, Patrol and Reconnaissance Wing Ten (CPRW-10), Commander, Helicopter Sea Combat Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CHSCWP), and Commander, Helicopter Maritime Strike Wing, U.S. Pacific Fleet (CHSMWP), and Strategic Communications Wings One (SCW-1).

Key Responsibilities (Principal Duties and Accountabilities *Essential Functions)

• Coordinate the deployment and integration of all Airwing Information Systems assets onto Naval Aircraft Carrier's Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services (CANES) Shipboard Network System for Carrier Air Wings Two (CVW-2), CVW-5, CVW-9, CVW-11, and CVW-17.
• Coordinate the integration and migration of Airwing Classified and Unclassified organizational and personnel data utilizing approved Program of Record (PoR) Network Attached Storage (NAS) devices from PMW-150.
• Provide input and annual review of CNAP Deployable Instruction and Deployable Checklist for all IT services and systems requirements for CNAP Subordinate command to include Carrier Air Wings (CVW), Carrier Strike Groups (CSG), and U.S. Naval Carriers (CVN) for pre and post deployment coordination procedures and policies.
• Manage and track deployable Information System assets and software requirements pre-deployment allowing for successful embarkation of CSG and CVW pre-deployment.
• Conduct deployable planning meetings for each CCSGs, CVWs, and squadrons 90, 60, 30, and 5 days prior to scheduled deployment.
• Coordinate Cyber Security Vulnerability Scans post deployment for NMCI and ONE-NET Information Systems re-joining the Ashore Enterprise Network ensuring Cyber Hygiene compliance.
• Oversee Navy Information Technology Approval Systems (NAV-ITAS) ensuring Information Technology Procurement Approval (ITPRs) are approved and submitted for all CVW to allow for procurement of CVW IT requirements pre-deployment.
• Aid in training CNAP Subordinate commands on the utilization of PMW-205 Deployable Management Tool (DMT) and the procedures required to deploy NMCI and ONE-NET deployable assets pre and post deployment.
• Coordinates Deployables Management Training with PMW-205 for activities NAS Whidbey, Island, WA, NAS Lemoore, CA, Tinker AFB, NAS Point Mugu, and NAS North Island.
• Coordinates the issues of NMCI and ONE-NET Pack-Up Kits ensuring CVW have the abilities to re-build deployed assets with Offline Build Tool (OBT) and equipped with assets for emergent utilization.
• Coordinates with PMW-160 TACNET Embarkables Ship Support Division ensuring proper integration of CSG and CVW on CVN pre-deployment.
• Coordinates the scheduling of support conflict to ensure Operation Readiness requirements are met on schedule pre-deployment.
• Initiates the submission of Move, Add, Changes request for deployable hard drive (HDD) swaps for CVW's that required HDD due to security vulnerability mitigations or Operating System Upgrades.
• Managements Shipboard Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) printing services for all CNAP CVW's ensuring supplies and maintenance have been requested and supplied pre-deployment.
• Experience with CVN and Aviation Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP), Extended Planned Incremental Availability (EPIA), Carrier Qualification (CQ) Events, and Compositive Training Unit Exercises (COMPUEX).
• Coordinates IT resources and integrations for the only Forward Deployment Naval Forces CVW (CVW-5) F/A-18 Strike Fighter Advance Readiness Program (SFARP) exercise and Electronic Warfare Advance Readiness Program (EWARP) exercise located at Naval Air Station NAS) Fallon, NV. Coordination includes procurement of NMCI Assets, printing supplies, cellular telephones, and account creations ensuring successful mission execution.
• Initiates and Tracks completion of Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) SharePoint Regional Inventory Tracking Essentials (SPRITE) pre-deployment ensuring PACFLT Compliance for duration of deployment.
• Coordinates with Program Offices to ensure systems integration of PoR system are deployment pre-deployment. Coordination includes division in PMW-281 - Joint Mission Planning Systems, PMW-150 - Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information Systems (NALCOMIS) ensuring workstations, tablets (Electronic Kneeboards (eKBs), Portable Electronic Maintenance Aids (PEMA) are successfully integrated to support CVW integration and employment on CVN,s.
• Manages the systems integrations of PMA-281 mission planning systems onto NMCI / ONE-NET networks for all CNAP subordinate Squadron Commands.
• Experience utilizing DLA for shipment of Squadron IT equipment load out.
• Experienced submitting MAC's Add, move accounts and change requests (MACs) utilizing NMCI Enterprise Tool.
• Key Stake Holder on weekly PMW-205 Embarkables Working Group, ensuring CVWs and Squadrons has a representative identifying issues, concerns, and lessons learned during pre and post deployment integrations and also for duration of deployment.
