Summary:
• Implement and maintain cloud and edge infrastructure in AWS, with a primary focus on Kubernetes container orchestration and EKS.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage configuration states using Terraform and Ansible.
• Develop automation utilities and tooling using Python, Bash, and Go to ensure high availability and scalability.
• Administer Linux environments and support the integration of enterprise big data technologies.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 3+ years
• Total Compensation: $222k+ yearly
Job Description:
• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure (including EKS) as well as non-cloud edge and on-premise systems.
• Automate continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to enhance service reliability and operational scalability.
• Manage and maintain containerized workloads using Kubernetes and related orchestration platforms.
• Write robust automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, or Go within terminal-based Linux environments.
• Provision and manage infrastructure as code utilizing tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Monitor production environments, identify system bottlenecks, and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Support big data platforms and data stores such as Kafka, Spark, PostgreSQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate across engineering teams in an Agile development environment, offering technical guidance and mentorship.
• Maintain DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance (e.g., CompTIA Security+) and maintain an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.
