Candidates must already possess an active Top Secret/SCI w/ Full Scope Polygraph to be considered.
Summary:
• Administer and engineer distributed Hadoop and Accumulo clusters in enterprise Linux environments.
• Deploy containerized systems using Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm while managing cluster reliability.
• Automate infrastructure deployments and configuration management using Bash, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Maintain observability and system health using Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, and OpenSearch.
Qualifications & Compensation:
• Degree: Technical bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• Total Compensation: $269k+ yearly (tentative)
Job Description:
• Monitor system health, performance, and reliability across large, distributed clusters
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware, software, network, and cloud platform issues
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews
• Maintain and optimize large-scale Hadoop, Accumulo, and distributed storage systems
• Engineer and enhance observability, telemetry, and alerting frameworks
• Create and maintain automation scripts and Infrastructure-as-Code deployments
• Patch, upgrade, and harden Linux systems in accordance with security standards
• Configure and maintain networking, load balancers, and LDAP-based access controls
• Provide operational support in a high-tempo, mission-critical environment
