InDev is seeking a Part-Time Facility Security Officer. This position requires active Top-Secret clearance and is fully remote. Must have 4+ years FSO experience as a federal government contractor and be thoroughly familiar with Department of Defense and National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM). Candidate will participate in security assessments and will directly interface with customer and government security representatives.


This part-time opportunity will allow the candidate flexibility to perform their tasks around their schedule.

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as the company point-of-contact with the DCSA; understand and proactively act on DCSA requirements.


• Lead and design the internal Insider Threat Program; increase Insider Threat Awareness throughout the company.


• Point-of-contact for employee security clearances, including submitting initial clearance requests, assisting employees with initial paperwork, and reinvestigations of employees.


• Performing security briefings/debriefings (SF 312, NATO, new employees, and employee terminations etc.).


• Preparing for DCSA and other government inspections.


• Developing and upgrading facility and program Security Operation Plans (SOPs) and other documentation. Developing new SOPs as warranted.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ years FSO experience as a federal government contractor


• Familiar with Department of Defense and National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM)


• Proficiency in DISS, NISS other security databases


• Must be reliable, dependable and trustworthy


• Must demonstrate a general commitment to excellence and a dedication to producing quality work results.


• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, be courteous and professional when interacting with colleagues and customers, demonstrate a solid ability to identify and solve problems, and be able to work successfully in a team environment
