Job Description
Position Title : Facility Security Officer (FSO) - WSMR
Location : White Sands Missile Range, NM
Clearance required : SECRET minimum (Tier 3 / T3R); Top Secret / SCI eligible (Tier 5 / T5R) required to administer classified systems or networks or for critical- or special-sensitive duties.
Scope of Work: Serves as the Key Personnel Facility Security Officer at White Sands Missile Range, administering personnel and industrial security for the contract in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program.

Clearance required : SECRET minimum (Tier 3 / T3R); Top Secret / SCI eligible (Tier 5 / T5R) required to administer classified systems or networks or for critical- or special-sensitive duties.
Scope of Work: Serves as the Key Personnel Facility Security Officer at White Sands Missile Range, administering personnel and industrial security for the contract in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Administer the contractor security program in accordance with the NISPOM (DoD 5220.22-M) and the DD Form 254.
- Process visit authorization requests and manage clearances, badging, and in- and out-processing of personnel.
- Collect and return Government identification, CACs, and keys upon employee departure and coordinate security debriefings.
- Track and report security training completion in the ATEC Training Tracker Module and coordinate with the Government Industrial Security Officer.
- Report adverse information, security violations, and any loss or compromise of classified information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English proficiently
- Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office software
- Active Top Secret clearance
- Facility Security Officer qualification and experience administering a DoD industrial security program under the NISPOM
