About This Role
We're seeking a Systems Architect SME for a funded position supporting the Sponsor in Chantilly, VA. You'll specialize in project and system integration to support dataset collection and exploitation for the Sponsor's operational needs. The work spans architecting and implementing mission internet systems, building and securing cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure, configuring VPN tunnels and network infrastructure, and analyzing mobile applications through Android emulation and reverse engineering. You'll also consult with partners inside and outside the Sponsor's organization on data acquisition and exploitation strategy, and you'll work closely with Sponsor management as they set priorities alongside the contractor team. This role suits a hands-on architect who is as comfortable configuring a router or hardening a system as briefing a data strategy. Some temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required.
Compensation
$250,000 - $300,000 (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
Architect, design, and implement mission internet systems supporting the Sponsor's data collection and exploitation needs
Build, secure, and administer cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure, including networking, logging, and provisioning
Configure VPN tunnels and apply obfuscation techniques, along with Cisco routing, LAN switching, and VLAN tagging
Perform Android emulation, reverse engineering, and mobile app analysis
Conduct fingerprinting, signature analysis, and deconfliction
Support accreditation and A&A activities, implement security controls, and harden systems
Work with users to identify and develop system requirements, accounting for desired results, hardware limitations, and operating requirements
Interface directly with Sponsor management on requirements for data collection and exploitation
Provide operational testing and recommendations for continuous improvement of collection and exploitation equipment and software
Coordinate across the Sponsor's organization and business partners to expedite data sharing, processing, and governance
Analyze new technologies, hardware, and software, including security, storage, and network technology, for applicability to existing or proposed systems
Programmatically manage solutions for virtual operations, and collect and manage requirements for virtual operational planning
Collect, ingest, and exploit large and small datasets, including profile, content, and metadata information
Evaluate data accessible in the public domain, including foreign social media websites and applications on mobile and stationary platforms
Provide data assessments and prepare analytical reports from datasets
Condition, coordinate, and transfer datasets for integration with existing platforms for correlation and analysis
Help plan and manage multiple projects involving infrastructure and exploitation platforms
Help establish strategic objectives based on the Sponsor's vision for its data collection platforms
Conduct technical exchange meetings with stakeholders on business and technical requirements
Provide field technical and operational support for data analysis, including occasional TDY travel
Requirements
Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
Experience architecting, designing, or implementing mission internet systems
Experience with AWS and/or Azure networking, security, logging, administration, and provisioning
Experience with Android emulation, reverse engineering, and mobile app analysis
Experience with VPN tunnel configuration and obfuscation techniques
Experience with fingerprinting, signature analysis, and deconfliction
Experience with accreditation, assessment and authorization (A&A), security controls, and system hardening
Experience with Cisco router configuration, LAN switching, and VLAN tagging
Demonstrated experience with collection and exploitation of data on domestic and foreign mobile apps
Demonstrated experience performing data analysis to determine data sources, data targets, data definitions, and data relationships
Demonstrated experience working with data in a variety of structured and unstructured formats
Demonstrated experience triaging and troubleshooting data issues
Demonstrated experience developing data ingestion tools that extract, transform, and load data based on data mappings
Demonstrated experience building databases and developing software applications to manage the extraction, transformation, and loading of data
Demonstrated experience performing data modeling, data testing, and data documentation
Demonstrated experience with data management, including data versioning and backups
Demonstrated experience transferring and handling sensitive data
Demonstrated experience developing requirements for testing and assessing applications and systems for data management
Demonstrated experience working with users to define requirements for analysts or operational customers
Demonstrated experience producing technical documentation for operational use, along with task plans, task documentation, and activity reports
Demonstrated on-the-job experience with image analysis, manipulation, and processing in Photoshop or similar tools
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor's technical collection
Proficiency with the Sponsor's classified datasets and data collection and repository tools
Prior experience supporting the Sponsor or other IC customers
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Relevant certifications such as CCNA, AWS or Azure certifications, or Security+
