Sr. Security Engineer (Trellix)

Description:
On-site in Washington, DC As a Sr. Security Engineer (Trellix), you will serve as the technical lead for our client's endpoint security and data protection solutions. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced security controls to protect critical assets and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of endpoint security solutions using Trellix technologies
• Manage and optimize security operations to ensure timely detection and response to threats
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into development and deployment processes
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate risks
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
• Stay current with emerging security threats, trends, and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on endpoint security solutions
• Proven experience with Trellix products and technologies
• Strong understanding of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC
• Experience with cloud security platforms and technologies
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools
