Description: On-site in San Diego, CA Our client seeks a Software Engineer to support a project at a Navy base in San Diego. The role includes analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment of software solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience with software development life cycle, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software applications according to project requirements
• Participate in requirements gathering and analysis sessions
• Design and implement software solutions
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
• Conduct unit testing and debugging
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Document software design and development processes
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with Navy or defense projects
• Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience with database systems (SQL, NoSQL)
• Understanding of software testing methodologies

Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.
