Our client seeks an experienced ServiceNow Developer focused on Discovery and Integrations to support the Department of Transportation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow platform development, discovery processes, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement ServiceNow discovery scripts and miderversions to identify and classify assets across the enterprise.
• Design and build integrations between ServiceNow and external systems using REST, SOAP, and other APIs.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following ServiceNow best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to discovery and integrations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of experience with ServiceNow platform development.
• Proven experience with ServiceNow discovery and integration patterns.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow APIs, including REST and SOAP.
• Experience with JavaScript, AngularJS, and other ServiceNow client-side technologies.
• Familiarity with database concepts and SQL.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with federal government clients, particularly the Department of Transportation.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

Clearance:

Active Secret clearance required.
