Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer

Description:
Our client seeks a Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer to support enterprise data modernization, cloud migration, analytics, and data integration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with Databricks, Informatica, and related technologies, and will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data solutions that enable scalable and efficient data processing and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Databricks and Informatica.
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the data lifecycle.
• Participate in requirements gathering, design reviews, and testing phases.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with a strong focus on Databricks and Informatica.
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their data services.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Python, Scala, and other programming languages relevant to data engineering.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with machine learning and AI technologies.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance regulations.
• Certifications in Databricks, Informatica, or related technologies.
