Our client seeks a Junior Penetration Tester to support security assessments across web applications, infrastructure, cloud environments, and networks. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, conducting penetration tests, and providing detailed reports to clients.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct penetration tests on web applications, networks, and cloud environments
- Identify and document security vulnerabilities and weaknesses
- Develop and execute testing strategies and methodologies
- Create comprehensive reports detailing findings and recommendations
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and objectives
- Stay current on emerging security threats and best practices
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in penetration testing or related security roles
- Knowledge of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10, etc.)
- Familiarity with penetration testing tools (Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, etc.)
- Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and reporting abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or similar
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of web application development frameworks
- Understanding of encryption and cryptographic protocols
