Job Description:
As an ETL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and related ETL technologies. Your day-to-day work will involve creating, maintaining, and enhancing stored procedures, functions, and inline SQL to support robust ETL processes. You will be expected to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments, ensuring data flows efficiently and accurately between systems. Participation in production maintenance windows and providing on-call support are essential aspects of this role, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
You will benefit from hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and both PostgreSQL and Oracle SQL/SQL environments. Familiarity with Informatica performance tuning, including optimizing sources, mappings, targets, and sessions, will be crucial for success. Exposure to the Agile Software Development Life Cycle will allow you to independently contribute to each phase of project delivery, from requirements gathering to deployment. Your ability to support and enhance applications built on Informatica and related technologies will be highly valued in this position.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and related components (ETL Designer, etc.).
- Create, optimize, and manage stored procedures, functions, inline SQL, and ETL workflows.
- Perform performance tuning of Informatica sources, mappings, targets, and sessions.
- Participate independently in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, with a focus on Agile methodologies.
- Work with Databricks, SQL, PostgreSQL, and/or Oracle SQL/PLSQL to support data integration and transformation needs.
- Monitor, support, and resolve issues for applications utilizing Informatica and related ETL technologies.
- Provide on-call support and work during production maintenance hours as required.
