Job Description
NewGen is seeking a Java Developer, Lead to focus on building and modernizing existing systems.
Required skills/Level of Experience:
Experience: At least 8 years of software development experience, including 6+ years with Java and technologies like Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful web services.
Leadership: 4+ years leading engineers (mentoring, code reviews, and delivery accountability) and 3+ years with a modern JavaScript framework (React.js, Vue, or Angular.js).
Tech Stack: Legacy Java (J2EE, JSP, Servlets), containerization/cloud (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or Azure), and CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins).
Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
