We are seeking a Logistics Subject Matter Expert to translate Army logistics and property-accountability processes into requirements for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 F&O) solution. The role connects Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management inventory and warehouse processes with Dynamics 365 Finance accounting, valuation, and reconciliation. The specialist will work with Government owners, functional consultants, and technical teams throughout discovery, implementation, and user readiness while preserving authoritative property records.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•          Lead logistics and property-process discovery with Army users, accountable officials, and source-system owners.

•          Define authoritative Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) relationships and operational data ownership.

•          Document custody, location, receipt, issue, transfer, and physical-count processes, including approved inventory and warehouse workflows in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.

•          Identify operating materials and supplies, valuation, and reconciliation requirements linking logistics activity with accounting in Dynamics 365 Finance.

•          Validate business-event mappings and exception workflows with finance and integration teams.

•          Review approved disconnected-operation use cases and the controls required for subsequent synchronization and reconciliation.

•          Support source-data assessment, process validation, test scenarios, and user acceptance testing.

•          Contribute to training and change-readiness materials while preserving Government ownership of logistics policy and property records.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

•          7+ years of experience in logistics, supply, property accountability, or related systems, including 3+ years supporting Army or DoD operations.

•          Experience with accountable property, inventory and warehouse processes, APSRs, and custody records.

•          Experience reconciling operational activity with financial records or supporting associated control processes.

•          Ability to explain logistics business events and validate data mappings, controls, and test scenarios.

•          Ability to work with functional consultants and engineers to translate operational needs into implementation requirements.

•          Strong stakeholder facilitation and written communication skills for documenting processes, exceptions, and decisions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

•          Experience with GCSS-Army or the Logistics Modernization Program.

•          Experience with ERP modernization and financial integration of supply or property processes.

•          Experience with disconnected, intermittent, or limited-bandwidth logistics operations.

EDUCATION:

•          Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, operations management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of relevant education, training, and professional experience.

CLEARANCE / SUITABILITY:

•          Must meet Government citizenship and background check requirements. Any required security clearance and access approvals must be obtained before accessing Government systems or project data and maintained throughout the assignment.

•          Remote within the United States.
